Culture and Attractions
The Nature Park Region of Reutte has culturally a lot to offer. One highlight is most certainly not only the Ehrenberg World of Castles with the Castle Ensemble and the Ehrenberg ‘Klause‘, but also the historical centre of the market town of Reutte is also worth a visit and can be explored individually using the accompanying booklet on ‘a historical walk through Reutte’. Another highlight is certainly the local museum in the ‘Green House’ (‘Grünes Haus’), directly in the centre. Many years ago important transport routes ran through the Nature Park Region of Reutte: the Via Claudia Augusta Roman road as well as the Via Salina salt route. In every location of the Nature Park Region there are innumerable sights and attractions such as churches, chapels and fountains, all of which reveal interesting historical backgrounds.
